I currently accept Aetna, United Healthcare and work with Thrizer for Out-of-Network benefits. You can also use your Health Savings Account (HSA) Health Reimbursement Arrangement (HRA) or Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for either all or a portion of the cost. Make sure to check your insurance to understand your coverage fully.
$165 for 55 minute individual therapy sessions.
We’ll dive into whatever's causing a ruckus in your life. Nothing’s off-limits—from your darkest fears to your wildest dreams. I’m here to guide, not dictate, the convo.
I’ll provide insights and strategies, not commands. Think of me as your co-pilot on this wild ride, helping you navigate, not taking over the controls. If you don't feel comfortable talking about something, then we don’t go there. PERIOD! You’re in control of your sessions and what you share. We’ll explore what you’re ready to, when you’re ready, no pressure.
I don’t prescribe medication, but if you decide that medication could be beneficial, I can help refer you to a psychiatrist or a medical doctor and will absolutely colloborate with them if/when needed.
There’s not a set duration for therapy, it varies widely depending on your goals, the issues you’re dealing with, and how deeply you want to delve into them. Everyone's pace is different. Some people see improvements quickly, while others need more time.
It's a personal process so the results can be subtle, but you’ll feel " the shift." You might feel lighter, see things differently, or handle shit more effectively than you could before. Might find yourself engaging more positively with others. It’s often the small victories that signal progress. It is always about progress over perfection, every time!
For your free 15-minute phone consultation, we’ll chat about what’s bringing you in, what you’re hoping to get out of therapy, and any questions you have for me—no pressure, just get a glimspe to see if we'd make a good team.
At your intake appointment, we’ll spend the hour going over the informed consent docs and intake forms you completed prior to session, so I can get a clear picture of your needs, goals, and how we can work together as a team.
If it is an EMDR Therapy Intensive consult or intake you can find out more here.
Hell yes! I get this question often. You don’t need to be at rock bottom to get something out of therapy. And just because someone may have had it rougher than you or they are struggling with a "major" problem, doesn't minimize yours and what you are experience.
Both can co-exisist, both can benefit from therapy and both deserve to have compassionate AF support through it. PERIOD!
Therapy is a powerful tool for personal development, managing stress, and improving relationships. It can help you gain greater self-awareness and pursue personal growth so you can kick life in the effin' face!
Of course! If we’re not vibing, I’ll provide you with referrals so you can check them out and see if they're a better fit for you. No hard feelings at all!
EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is an evidence-based badass treatment for trauma. It is designed to diminish negative feelings associated with traumatic memories. Unlike traditional talk therapy, EMDR focuses directly on the memory, body sensations and negative core beliefs to reprocess them on the subconscious level. By using bilateral stimulation it rewires the way that memory is stored in the brain, thus reducing and eliminating the problematic symptoms that have been causing some fuckery and getting you back to living life on your own damn terms!
